Prickly Companions

Other than having friends, there are different things that can help us from feeling lonely. Most people have pets like cats and dogs or even exotic ones like bearded dragons and what not. I, however, have cactus as my companions. They come in different shapes and sizes. Some are very prickly and some are clean and smooth. I find that having cactus in my room brings joy to my room. At first, I was afraid of neglecting my critters because I can be really busy most of the times (struggles of a university student). Every time I came home, I would go straight to bed. Not even bothering to remove my makeup. However, cacti (plural for cactus) do not need regular watering like most plants. They need once a week or when their soil is really dry. Their care guide is quite simple and not complicated. Cacti and succulents are very suitable for busy people like me!
